About this project
Denkeeper and BroadBuilder
Denkeeper is a BroadBuilder project built around a familiar starting point: you know something at home needs attention, but you may not know what to call it or which details matter.
Begin with the problem in your own words
Denkeeper serves homeowners, landlords, and property managers who need to explain a repair, installation, or maintenance request. Its public home-service intake focuses on Jacksonville, Florida. You can start with the symptom or the result you want, rather than choosing a trade before you have described the work.
A request might begin with a recurring leak or a room that needs attention before a tenant moves in. The guided conversation asks follow-up questions about the project, location, urgency, and other useful details. Optional photos can add context. The aim is an organized request for the team to review, with the relevant information kept together.
The intake process overview explains what happens from the first description through handoff. Sending a request is not a confirmed appointment; availability and the next step still need review.
BroadBuilder’s role and approach
BroadBuilder is behind Denkeeper’s design and development. The project applies a straightforward approach to home-service intake: begin with the person’s situation, ask for the missing context, and organize that information before the human follow-up.
For a homeowner, that means space to describe what is happening without already knowing the technical answer. For a landlord or property manager, it means keeping the property, access considerations, and reported issue in the same request. Denkeeper’s property-maintenance intake overview describes the information that helps with that handoff.
This relationship explains who is behind the site; it does not make Denkeeper the contractor performing the work. The service provider’s inspection and agreed scope remain separate from the intake. Read BroadBuilder’s Denkeeper project overview for the project’s place within BroadBuilder.
A place to read before making a request
Denkeeper also has an editorial role. Its home-maintenance guides cover preparation, steps, troubleshooting, and the limits of a task, including when a qualified professional is needed. Reading and requesting help are different paths: a guide offers general context, while the intake gathers details about a particular property and project.
You can use a guide to prepare questions or understand the information a provider may need. General reading cannot establish the condition of your property or replace an on-site assessment. If you want the team to review a project, use the intake to describe your own situation.
